I just received a moving message from a dear student and friend, a soldier fighting in Lebanon since the start of Operation Roaring Lion. This is his unit’s fifth round of duty since October 7, 2023, totaling hundreds of days away from home and family.
The brutal realities of war do not stop our soldiers from tenderly remembering the women holding everything together on the homefront.
As they prepare to spend Pesach in Lebanon, the unit has chosen a modest, beautifully boxed "Thank You" gift for their wives. HATZADIK.ORG with Torah u’Gvura is sponsoring these gifts for our heroic women to ensure that every woman in the unit feels appreciated this Yom Tov. (For soldiers who are not yet married, the gift will be sent to their mothers.)
